Creating a feeling of home has nothing to do with a house’s size, nor a particular style. It has to do with the character, quality, materials, and details within a three-dimensional space. Architects help their client achieve truly personalized living spaces within a structure, that can inspire its inhabitants everyday.
Steve Chambers is a Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas-based architect and President of Stephen B. Chambers Architects Inc., specializing in ranches, homes, and historic preservation. Steve Chambers is a licensed architect and licensed interior designer in Texas and Oklahoma with over 40 years of experience. His distinctive designs have won many awards and have been seen in many national publications.
Since 1975, Steve has intentionally kept his firm small so that he can work with every client individually. Without close study of the client’s way of life, the architect produces a mere decoration of the landscape and is an extension of their ego. Stephen B. Chambers Architects, Inc. also believes in using the principles of Sustainable Design and Universal Design. The architect’s responsibility is first to the client, but is also mindful of the community and the world as a whole.
As a licensed architect, licensed interior designer, and former general contractor, Steve understands how each of these disciplines must come together to achieve a balanced and unified result.
